In a 10kv distribution network, the primary and secondary integrated ring network box is a common distribution method for terminal equipment. The true meaning of a ring cage is a switch cabinet used for laying wires in a ring network. It can be a circuit breaker cabinet, a load switch cabinet, or a switch cabinet composed of high-voltage load switches and fuses. Ring cage refers to small-sized SF6 load switchgear, which has many advantages:

1.Save project investment. Even if a single Sf6 Switchgear is equipped with a high-voltage fuse, the project cost would still be over ten thousand yuan. Compared with the 30,000 yuan engineering cost of easily developing a circuit breaker cabinet, even 100,000 connected power switches can save a considerable amount of costs.

2. It is very easy to maintain. The actual effect of using high-voltage load switches to prepare fuses for transformer maintenance is better than that of circuit breaker power switches. Since the fuse can quickly break the short-circuit capacity within 10ms, it can prevent the transformer from burning out. However, the power switch of the circuit breaker needs to be cut off, including the maintenance room, the engagement room and the arc ignition room of the automotive relay. The total time of the three cycles is 60ms. However, if a short-circuit fault caused by a transformer is disconnected within 20ms, it is less likely to explode.

3. Small in size and occupying less space. Compared with circuit breaker cabinets and central cabinets, the ring cage is smaller in size, which can save a lot of indoor space. Even the secondary fusion ring cage can be concentrated in one box to form a ring network switch station, which can quickly cut off the switch power supply when common faults occur.

4. Easy to install and convenient for expansion. The installation of the primary and secondary integrated ring main unit is convenient. There is no need to excavate the foundation pit trench. Just fix the switch cabinet on the round steel. When it is necessary to add wooden cabinets, they should be installed side by side with the original switch cabinets, and horizontal bus ducts can be used for connection.
