Derui Electric China Wows at Moscow Power Grid 2025: Technological Strength Opens the Door to Eurasian Markets
On December 4, 2025, Power Grid 2025 Moscow International Power Grid Technology Exhibition, co-hosted by the Russian Ministry of Energy and the All-Russian Power Supply Company, concluded successfully at the Timiryazev Exhibition Center. As the largest and most professional power industry event in Eastern Europe, China Derui Electric Co., Ltd. showcased its core products such as gas-Insulated Switchgear and environmentally friendly switchgear at Booth B21. With its technical advantages adapted to extremely cold environments and green energy-saving features, the company stood out as a highlight of the exhibition, fully demonstrating the strong technical strength of Chinese power equipment, and adding another remarkable achievement to the "going global" drive of Chinese power equipment.

Under the theme of "Smart Grids and Energy Transition – Driving the Future of Power Development", this exhibition coincided with the critical implementation period of Russia’s 100-billion-level power grid upgrading plan. Derui Electric’s exhibited products precisely matched the local core demands, such as adaptation to extremely cold environments and environmental protection transformation, attracting extensive attention as soon as the exhibition opened. The company’s multilingual service team provided professional services including product technical analysis and application scenario solution customization throughout the event, and its efficient response and professional competence were unanimously recognized by the participants.
The core products exhibited this time are precisely tailored to the needs of the Russian market: the gas-Insulated Switchgear, developed for the extremely cold climate in Siberia, adopts specially-made insulating materials and sealing technology, enabling stable operation at -50℃ with a failure rate reduced by 50% compared with traditional equipment. The environmentally friendly switchgear replaces traditional greenhouse gases with a fluorine-free design, while achieving modular assembly, which increases space utilization by 40% and perfectly meets the requirements of Russia’s power grid green upgrading. Products such as ring main units, ring network switchgear and load switches are all integrated with intelligent monitoring modules, supporting remote operation and maintenance as well as fault early warning, which can effectively adapt to the power grid management needs of Russia's vast territory.
Over the three days of the exhibition, the company received more than 200 prospective customers and reached preliminary cooperation intentions with 8 local Russian enterprises, 3 of which have entered the sample testing phase. It is reported that more than 50% of Russia’s current power grid equipment has been in use for over 30 years, and the country will invest over 30 billion US dollars in power grid modernization in the next decade. Meanwhile, Chinese power equipment already accounts for 28% of Russia’s import market. The series of products exhibited by Derui Electric have passed the Russian GOST certification and have been operating stably in some power grid projects in Central Asia. The company invests in R&D every year to optimize and upgrade relevant core technologies, providing solid support for the internationalization of its products.
As a representative enterprise of Chinese power equipment "going global", Derui Electric’s trip to Moscow not only secured orders, but also accurately grasped the Eurasian power grid upgrading needs. In the future, the company plans to take this exhibition as an opportunity to promote the construction of an overseas service center in Moscow and further improve the localized service system.
Against the backdrop of deepening China-Russia energy cooperation, Derui Electric will continue to take technological innovation as the driving force, enabling Chinese power equipment to shine more brightly in the Eurasian market. The Russian power grid upgrading market has huge potential, and this participation is an important step for Derui Electric to deepen its layout in the Eurasian market. The success of this Moscow exhibition not only demonstrates the technological confidence of Chinese power equipment enterprises, but also builds a solid bridge for China-Russia power equipment cooperation.
